There is so much you can do and see in New York City. So, to help, I’ve listed my personal favourite attractions and experiences the city has to offer. Hopefully this list can make planning your next trip to NYC that little bit easier.

New Project (1)

Washington Square Park

My second favourite park in NYC is located in the West Village. The energy is always high with free entertainment on every corner. Grab a bagel/iced coffee and you could sit there for hours.

911 New

9/11 Memorial

The memorial is a beautiful place to visit and pay your respects and the National September 11 Memorial Museum is free on Tuesdays after 5 p.m.

Central Park

My personal favourite attraction in NYC. I recommend to start at 59th street and work your way uptown. Definitely stop at the model boat pond on 74th street to sit on the benches – it’s my go to spot.

Fifth Avenue-min

5th Avenue

If you want to do some shopping you can’t go wrong with the iconic 5th Avenue. Start at the Plaza on 59th street (grab a drink at the Champagne bar if you can) and work your way down to Bryant Park on 42nd street. The NYPL is also next door if you want to check that out.

Grand Central Terminal-min

Grand Central Terminal

One of the most iconic train stations in the world. Definitely worth the visit – especially if you loved Gossip Girl and many other iconic shows/films it’s featured in.

Brooklyn Flea Market-min

Brooklyn Flea Market

If you go to Dumbo on a Sunday you will find the Brooklyn Flea Market which is a must visit if you like to thrift. There is a mixture of amazing vendors and I have honestly bought some of my favourite vintage finds there.

Brooklyn Bridge-min

Brooklyn Bridge

Walking over the BB is not only free but it’s the best way to see the city views. You also end up in Dumbo on the other end which is one of my favourite neighborhoods in Brooklyn. Expect even better views when you get there.

Summit One Vanderbilt

This is one of the newest attractions in NYC and it’s so so fun! It’s an immersive experience with the best views. It’s truly unique and definitely worth a visit in my opinion.

The Met Museum

While you are uptown it would be a shame not to visit the iconic Met Museum. It is advised to donate but it can be as little as $5. Definitely worth it in my opinion and a place you could spend hours.
